Terms of Service

Welcome to SignWise ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the SignWise platform at signwise.in (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Overview

SignWise is an AI-powered contract review platform that helps individuals and businesses understand legal documents. The Service provides clause-by-clause analysis, risk scoring, counter-language suggestions, and interactive contract chat.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use SignWise. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

3. Account Registration

You may register using email/password or Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@signwise.in if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Service Plans & Subscriptions

• Free Plan: Up to 3 contract reviews per month. Includes clause analysis, risk scoring, and counter-language suggestions.
• Pro Plan:Unlimited contract reviews, Contract Chat (AI-powered Q&A), priority analysis, and all future premium features.

Subscriptions are billed monthly through Razorpay. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period.

5. Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes. We do not store your payment card details — those are handled entirely by Razorpay. Refund requests may be submitted within 7 days of a charge by contacting support@signwise.in.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to analyze documents involved in unlawful activity.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI models or algorithms.
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or content designed to disrupt the Service.
• Share your account credentials or allow unauthorized parties to access your account.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service beyond normal usage.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

SignWise is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The analysis, risk scores, and suggestions generated by our AI are for informational and educational purposes only. They should not be treated as a substitute for professional legal counsel. Always consult a qualified attorney before making legal decisions based on contract analysis.

While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions. We do not guarantee the completeness, reliability, or suitability of any analysis for your specific situation.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and AI models powering SignWise are owned by us or our licensors. You retain full ownership of any documents you upload. We do not claim any rights over your contracts or personal data.

9. Data Handling

Uploaded contracts are processed for analysis and stored securely in your account. We do not sell or share your documents with third parties. For details on how we collect, store, and protect your data, please see our Privacy Policy.

10. Service Availability

We aim to keep SignWise available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime due to factors beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignWise and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@signwise.in. Upon termination, your uploaded contracts and analysis data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, India.
